Justin Hoyte has had a difficult time getting back into the Middlesbrough team since rejoining the club at the end of T&T’s Concacaf Gold Cup campaign.

Injury forced him to miss T&T’s two final games at the tournament and though recovered, the former England youth international has not seen action for the club this season. Hoyte has recovered and is with the T&T team in Riyadh for the OSN Cup.

“It’s been tough but I’ve been through stuff like this before, “ said the ex-Arsenal player.

“Personally I’m working towards getting back to full strength and the time will come when I’m playing regularly again.

I’ve got some things to consider at the moment regarding my future but it’s all good at the moment. I’m happy to be off the injury list and also good to be back in the national team of Trinidad and Tobago and making a contribution to the way forward,” said Hoyte.
