Trinidad and Tobago's senior men's footballers assembled for the beginning of their residential camp in Port of Spain yesterday ahead of an evening training session at the Hasely Crawford Stadium training pitch, in preparation for Friday's 2018 World Cup qualifier against Panama.

The players met with head coach Dennis Lawrence and his staff and appeared to be focussed as they prepare for what could be deemed the most important game of the qualifying campaign. Midfielder Kevan George echoed that sentiment yesterday as he described it as “mandatory” for T&T to complete the mission on Friday night.

The only overseas-based players left to join camp are Seattle Sounders' Joevin Jones, who was expected last night, while Levi Garcia and Sheldon Bateau are scheduled to arrive today. Already in are Kenwyne Jones, Kevin Molino, Aubrey David, Radanfah Abu Bakr, Andre Boucaud, Cordell Cato, Kevan George, Mekeil Williams, Willis Plaza and Khaleem Hyland.
