It was a simple, but ultimately true declaration from Naparima College coach Shawn Cooper after his team lifted their record sixth National InterCol title, after a 2-0 victory over El Dorado Secondary Comprehensive handed them the 2007 schools football knockout title and made them the most successful school in the competition's history. Cooper was referring to the 2-0 win Naparima had recorded over El Dorado, not yesterday but in pre-season training.

The prolific Jamal Gay pounced on two defensive lapses and scored to lead El Dorado Senior Comprehensive to a 2-1 victory over St Mary’s College in extra-time in their Secondary Schools Football League national RBTT Inter-Col semi-final at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo, yesterday. Regulation time ended 1-1.

That was the chant of the victorious Signal Hill Secondary Comprehensive girls as they wrapped up the BGTT Girls National InterCol title yesterday with a 1-0 win over Malick Secondary Comprehensive at St Anthony's College Ground, Westmoorings. A single goal by Renasha Jones in the 56th minute sealed the affair. A few fans from Tobago celebrated when the final whistle sounded.

Malick Senior Comprehensive took away the BG T&T Girls Trinidad Inter-Col title away from St Augustine with a 1-0 win yesterday at the St Mary’s ground, Serpentine Road, St Clair.
It was sweet revenge for Malick, whose boys’ team went under to St Augustine 2-1 less than 24 hours before in the RBTT Inter-col quarterfinal.
