NATIONAL DEFENDER Patrice Superville registered a hat-trick to guide Malick City to a comfortable 4-1 victory over UWI last Friday as the Premier Division of the WOLF (Women’s League Football) began.

At the St George’s College Ground in Barataria, Superville got her name on the scoresheet in the 23rd, 24th and 44th minutes, while Aisha George found the back of the net in the 29th.

Nicolette Ochoa got the consolation item for UWI in the 60th.

On Saturday, also at the St George’s Ground, the Tobago Women’s team edged Real Dimension 2-1.

Ace Trinidad and Tobago forward Kennya Cordner scored both goals for the Tobago Women’s team, in the first half, while another TT player, Rhea Belgrave, pulled one back for Dimension in the 85th.

Also in the Premier Division, Trincity Nationals crushed Defence Force 7-2 at the Eddie Hart Ground, Tacarigua.

In the First Division North Zone, Step By Step destroyed Queen’s Park 14-0 with national youth team striker Jo-Marie Lewis registering five goals while veteran Ahkeela Mollon added four. Chelsea Ralph notched a pair with one apiece from Tamar Watson, Jemilia Mathlin and Jahmila Murphy.

St Ann’s Rangers got strikes from Akeisha De La Rosa and Annalisa Cummings to defeat Tobago All Stars 2-1 in another North Zone contest.

In the First Division East Zone, Sweaters Touring Team overcame Arima Giants 2-1 and, in the South/Central Zone, Khadisha Hughes was the goal-getter as Ministry of Sport Schoolaz edged St Mary’s Central United 1-0.
