Step By Step vs Pt. Fortin Pioneers.Real Dimension need four points from back-to-back matches against Defence Force tomorrow and UWI on Thursday, both at Dibe Recreation Ground, to assure themselves the Trinidad and Tobago Women's Football League (WoLF) Premier Division title.

Real remained three points adrift of League leaders Trincity Nationals after their 2-0 whipping of Tobago Women on Sunday at the Dibe Ground, while Trincity also won their meeting with Malick City 2-1 at Eddie Hart Ground in Tacarigua.

For Real Dimension, Tiana Bateau and Rhea Belgrave got the goals to help their team keep pace with Trincity.

Bateau hammered home in the 25th minute for the 1-0 lead, but despite dominating most of the match they had to wait on Belgrave's 75th minute free kick, which hit the roof of Tobago Women goalkeeper Kimika Forbes' net.

Trincity got their goals for the narrow win from in-form Shanelle Warrick. They have, however, played all of their ten matches, to finish with 22 points.

Real, on 19 points, need at least a win and a draw against Defence Force and UWI to clinch the title.

Also on Sunday, Step by Step celebrated the WoLF First Division crown by edging St Augustine Sports Club 1-0 at Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella on Sunday.

The second tier champions got the winner from the boot of Jo-Marie Lewis, a cheeky free kick straight down the middle of goal from just outside the 18-metre box that St Augustine goalkeeper Nicole Mitchell got a hand to but failed to save.

St Augustine had their chances in the contest, but Jennel Kissoon, Denisha O'Brien, Chelsea Gibbs and Celeste Thomas all failed to hit the net.

Third place in the competition went to North Zone champions St Ann's Rangers, who beat disadvantaged South Zone runners-up Debe All Stars 3-1.

Debe started the match a player short and Rangers took advantage through Akeisha De La Rosa, who scored twice inside the first six minutes. Debe held out until the second half, when Sharain Cummings (50th) got a third to put her team 3-0 up.

Nikeisha Noel (59th) found the consolation goal for Debe in the 59th.

Step by Step, St Augustine and Rangers all earned promotion to the Premier Division for next season.
