Trincity Nationals produced one of the shocks of the season when they ran riot against defending champions Real Dimension in a Trinidad and Tobago Women’s League Football (WoLF) Premier Division match on Wednesday night at the University of the West Indies.

Not that it was a surprise that Trincity could beat the current league leaders, but a 6-1 victory was certainly a shocker. Last season, Trincity had been runners-up to Real Dimension in both league and knockout competitions, but they had been just off the pace this season.

No surprise, the prolific Jonelle Warrick scored four goals for Nationals, while Kedie Johnson netted a brace as well. Alania Burgin netted a penalty for Real Dimension.
