“Lady Sharks” were on the menu at Mahaica Oval, Point Fortin, on Saturday when Point Fortin Civic made full use of home advantage to defeat Central FC (“Lady Sharks”) 7-2 in the Women League Football (WoLF) Premier Division competition.

Victory moved second-placed Civic just a point behind leaders St Ann’s Rangers, who also won 3-0 over the National Under-15 team.

Meanwhile, Central FC lost for just the second time, but have now suffered back-to-back losses after going down 3-1 to Defence Force recently. Kayla Taylor and Verlea Duprey netted for Central FC in Saturday’s encounter.
