Malick City humiliated North Coast United 12-0 on Friday, at the Barataria Oval, in a Sixth Round match of the Lucky Bakery-sponsored National Women’s Super League.

Talisa Vire scored a hat-trick, in the 18th, 42nd and 73rd minutes, while Jihann Miller (fifth and 57th) and Anastasia Prescott (29th and 61st) each registering a double.

Jenelle Nedd (22nd), Ashlee Alonza (35th), Akeela Oliver (37th), Patrice Superville (77th) and Charlotte Alexander (81st) completed the rout for Malick.

The Trinidad and Tobago Under-17 team remain atop the points standings despite being held to a goalless draw by third-placed Real Dimension, in the earlier game of Friday’s double-header.

Also at Barataria, 24 hours later, San Juan Jabloteh spanked Defence Force 4-0, with national Under-23 team captain Kennya Cordner netting a pair (55th and 60th), while Franca Bateau (58th) and Sharice Arthur (60th).

On Monday, Trincity Nationals crushed Arima Giants 6-0 at the Eddie Hart Ground, Tacarigua.

Annalis Cummings (10th), Nickisha James (17th) and Merisha Parris (57th) gave Trincity a 3-0 cushion before Jonelle Warrick, a member of last year’s World Cup Under-17 team, added salt to the Giants’ wounds with a hat-trick (65th, 78th and 84th).

In related news, Edinburgh 500 have been booted out of the league for constantly defaulting matches, including last Saturday’s scheduled home encounter against Tunapuna Titans. As a result, the Edinburgh results on the standings have been declared null and void.
