ASHLEE ALONZO and Janelle Nedd each scored twice as Malick City trounced Arima Giants 6-0 on Friday evening as the Lucky Bakery- sponsored National Women’s Super League continued at the Barataria Oval.

Alonzo found the back of the net in the 38th and 40th minutes, but Arima’s hopes of a second-half comeback were completely dashed when Nedd got among the act, scoring in the 62nd and 78th.

Gihann Miller (69th) and Janett Wilson (80th) completed the one-sided trouncing for Malick.

In the earlier game of the double-header, Defence Force also registered a 6-0 hammering, of the lowly Tunapuna Titans.

Racquel Smith netted a hat-trick for Defence Force, in the 10th, 17th and 24th minutes, while Kamile De Gale (second), Paula Phillip (54th) and Shinice Pierre (60th) added one each.

This was Malick’s second win in three days, having thrashed Defence Force 4-0 on Wednesday at Barataria.

Alonzo and Wilson were among the goal-scorers, while national defenders Patrice Superville and Anastasia Prescott got the others.
