Stephano Wright fired in a pair of goals to lead Mason Hall USSS to an emphatic 4-0 thrashing of Youth Stars when the 2012/2013 Tobago Football Association Premier Division kicked off on Saturday.

Kerron Adams and L’che Edwards added the others for Mason Hall in the comfortable win in the first match of a double-header at Goodwood Ground to lead the 12-team table on goal-difference from Roxborough Lakers and Taylor Rentals Goal City.

Goal City used goals from Kenyon Manswell and Stephan King to slip past Leeds United 2-1 in the second match at Goodwood while Lakers blanked 1976 Phoenix 3-0 with Dyke Reid, Akeel Sterling and Nimblett Toussaint all on target. In Saturday’s other match, Bethel United and Sidey’s battled to a 1-1 with Carron Williams and Kwasi Kent the players on target.

Today, four matches are on schedule with defending champion St Clair Coaching School emeting Leeds United at Plymouth Recreation in the second match of a double-header from 7pm.

Two hours earlier, Phoenix tackles Bethel United at the same venue. Two matches are also carded for Goodwood, with Lakers meeting Georgia from 5pm followed by Youth Stars against Goal City.
