A 74TH MINUTE penalty by Glenroy Frederick earned Sidey’s a 2-2 draw with Golden Lane in their top-of-the-table clash in the Tobago Football Association Premier Division.

Prolific Tyrone Manning scored in the 12th minute to give Golden Lane the lead in Sunday’s game at Speyside.

But Pavel Warrick got the equaliser in the 19th for a 1-1 half-time scoreline.

Rohan Sebro put Golden Lane back in front scoring in the 69th minute and they held on until the penalty strike.

The point kept Sidey’s — who already won two titles — and Golden Lane in the hunt for the title. But league leaders Youth Stars now have a five point cushion after a comfortable 2-0 triumph over Earlbrokes at Goodwood.

The prolific Akeel Sterling struck for The Stars in the 19th minute, and Hakeem Legall sealed the deal in the 37th.

The Stars now have 41 points, with Golden Lane next on 36 and Sidey’s 34.

Mid-table Roxborough Lakers were made to struggle for a 3-2 victory over lowly Goal City at Bloody Bay, behind a hat-trick by Akessa Alexander in the 27th, 49th and 74th minutes. Akini Ferguson in the 44th and Kayode Grant 88th netted for the losers.

Black Rock slammed bottom club Bethel United 5-1 at Mt Gomery. Akeil Alleyne scored twice in the 30th and 34th, after Kavern Marcelle had put the winners in the lead in the 15th minute.

Taurel James got one back for Bethel in the 46th, but Atiba Roberts in the 70th and Kelson Charles 74th put the game beyond the losing team.

In Division One action, third placed Calder Hall knocked off leaders Signal Hill United 4-2 with a Garvin Richards double in the 21st and 50th minutes after Zholan Manning got the opener in the 15th minute and Roarke Benjamin scored in the 85th.

Omale Jackson got both for Signal Hill in the 80th and 90th.

St Clair’s Coaching School stunned second placed Buccoo Park 2-1 with goals from Stefan Byng in the 28th and 81st minutes.. Ronnel Chance got the consolation in the 52nd minute.
