YOUTH STARS continued their relentless march toward the Premier Division title in the Tobago Football Association, but this time by the default route.

On Wednesday, Bethel United failed to show up at the Cyd Gray Stadium for their game, allowing The Stars three points the easy way to now total 44 points at the top of the standings.

But mid-table Georgia FC put a dent into the aspirations of Golden Lane, edging them 1-0 at the River Bank ground on a 15th minute Jabari Mitchell goal.

They remain second however on 36 points, eight adrift of leaders Youth Stars.

FA and divisional knockout winners Sidey’s failed to make up ground on the top two after they were held to a 1-1 draw by lowly Black Rock at their home ground in Speyside. They now have 35 points.

Ace striker Pavel Warrick gave hope of a big victory when he scored in only the 8th minute, but Jair Clarke netted the equaliser for Black Rock in the 27th minute, and there was no further scoring.

Meanwhile, Roxborough Lakers edged Earlbrokies 2-1 at the Cyd Gray Stadium to move into fourth position on the standings with 27 points. Prolific goal scorer Akessa Alexander got a double, scoring in the 9th and hitting the winner at the death - 90th minute for the Roxborough men after Tyrone Nimblett had equalised in the 84th minute.

Leeds United blasted Mt Grace United 4-1 at Mt Grace ground to remain a comfortable 13 points clear of Mason Hall USSS at the top of Division One.

Keon Boucher scored a double in the 39th and 84th minutes, Jabari Lewis scored in the 63rd and Kernel Morris in the 90th while Khalife Mark got the consolation in the 71st minute.

The Mason Hall team stayed second with 31 points following their 3-0 shut out of Carnbee/Mt Pleasant at Mt Gomery ground.

Danny Pantin in the 25th minute and a double from Kurt Eastman in the 58th and 90th did the scoring for the winners.

Other Division One scores:

LAMBEAU UNITED (4) Daniel Seymour 2nd and 44th, Decland Morris 10th, Michael Charles 47th vs MORIAH YOUTHS (2) Kysean Thomas 25th, Keston Kerr 89th.
