THEY got a scare, but there is no stopping Youth Stars United as they continued their relentless march toward the Premier Division title in the Tobago Football Association.

Stunned by a seventh minute Jevon Quash goal, The Stars hit back powerfully to beat Golden Lane 3-2 in Sunday’s game at Mt Pleasant.

Hakeem Legall found the equaliser for The Stars in the 13th minute and Uriah Palomer put them ahead after 16 minutes and when Weah Adams fired in the 44th minute, it seemed The Stars were shining through.

But Tyrone Manning put the cat among the pigeons with a 44th minute strike, but Youth Stars held on.

Youth Stars now lead the standings with 50 points, six more than nearest rivals Sidey’s (44).

At Mt Gomery, Sidey’s smashed Bethel United 5-1 with Pavel Warrick scoring a double in the 11th and 56th minutes.

Nicholas Charles scored in the 20th, Kyle Davidson 40th and Dwayne Murray in the 44th added to the scoring.

Neil Holford got the Bethel goal in the 70th minute.

Two goals by Kevon Marcelle in the 15th and 90th minutes gave Blackpool a 2-1 riumph over Goal City at Bloody Bay. Akini Ferguson scored in the 63rd for the losers.

And at Richmond, Georgia FC shut out Earlbrokes 2-0 with a double strike by Nyron Orr in the 63rd and 80th minutes.
