A new champion was crowned on June 11 in the 6th edition of Buccoo Ball Park League.

Playing before a massive and vibrant crowd at the Buccoo Integrated Facility carpark, newcomers Bliss United defeated LD United 2-0 to lift the coveted title.

Miguel George was the scorer of both goals for the winners. George was Bliss' main man in front of goal throughout the tournament; scoring a Golden Boot winning nine goals. He was rewarded with $1,000, sponsored by Rachad Men's Store.

The Chance Street Buccoo based team (formerly called Remmie's), upset defending champs Fix Meh Nice 1-0 in the semis, to pocket the winning purse of $5000 sponsored by Jano Rentals while LD United took home $3000, sponsored by Solomon Contracting Services.

Meantime, last year's champs Fix Meh Nice ended the season in fourth place after being beaten 3-2 by Vel City in the third place playoff. Vel City earned $2000 for their efforts, contributed by NLCB Buccooneers.
