Weah Adams net­ted a first-half brace to guide Geor­gia FC over Gold­en Lane 3-0 to main­tain their com­fort­able lead at the top of the To­ba­go Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion Pre­mier Di­vi­sion at Mt Pleas­ant Recre­ation Ground on Tues­day.

Adams got his dou­ble in the 30th and 38th while Jabari Mitchell found the net in the 35th dur­ing an eight-minute spell which turned the match on its head.

The vic­to­ry lift­ed Geor­gia to 57 points from 24 match­es on the 16-team ta­ble, sev­en ahead of Sig­nal Hill Unit­ed while Leeds Unit­ed is third, a fur­ther two points back.

On Sun­day, Sig­nal Hill got hat-tricks from Christo­pher Mor­gan (20th, 69th, 84th) and De­von Stew­art (28th, 35th, 86th) to come-from-be­hind and pun­ish Lam­beau FC 11-1.

Miguel George added a dou­ble in the 25th and 31st, and Dar­ryl Trim (5th, and Ken­vern Mar­celle (37th) one each af­ter Lam­beau FC had gone ahead through a David Fran­cis strike in the eighth minute.

Leeds Unit­ed got a hat-trick from Keon Bouch­er in an 8-1 ham­mer­ing of Bethel Unit­ed to briefly trim Geor­gia FC’s lead al­so on Sun­day at Ply­mouth Recre­ation Ground.

Bouch­er got his goals in the 16th, 73rd and 79th min­utes for Leeds af­ter Tereek Richards had fired in an eighth-minute open­er while Kevon Adams (70th) and Ke­ston Rod­ney (88th) were al­so on tar­get along with two own goals from Donelle Williams in the 22nd, and An­ton Si­mon in the 68th. Nicholas Smart got the lone item for Bethel Unit­ed, the last-minute strike.
