STOKELY VALE continued their charge towards the double-crown in the Digicel-sponsored Tobago Football Association Premier Division with an emphatic 6-0 victory over Federal Northside.

Star striker Tyrone Manning led the charge in Wednesday’s match at Plymouth, scoring a hat-trick of goals.

And the prolific Curtis Job, Rohan Sebro and Daron Williams added one goal each for the FA Cup winners. Victory gave “The Vale” 28 points, six clear of nearest challengers Earlbrokes. Earlier at the same venue, Hills United edged Charlotteville Unifiers 2-1 with goals from Chris Cupid and Nigel Alexander. Rodney Murray got the Unifiers goal.

Lowly Youth Stars United failed to show for their game against 1976 FC Phoenix to send them two points clear at the top of the “B” Conference standings. But Carnbee/Mt Pleasant had to battle to overcome bottom-of-the-table Lambeau 3-2 at Mt Gomery, to stay on the heels of Phoenix.

Evander Roberts, David Gill and Hayden Phillips netted one goal each for the combination while Anson Campbell got both goals for Lambeau.
