ST CLAIR’S Coaching School continue to chase leaders Stokelyvale in the Digicel-sponsored Tobago Football Association Premier Division after a narrow 1-0 victory over Sidey’s.
It was a goal by Denzil James which gave Coaching School victory in the game at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet, on Friday night, to place them on 31 points, just three back of “The Vale” who were idle at the weekend.
But Georgia got three points the easy way when Charlotteville Unifiers defaulted their match, also fixed for earlier at the stadium.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, Federal Northside edged Hills United 1-0 at Goodwood on a goal by Joel Harry.
And Castara Retreats Goal City got a double strike from Akim Ferguson to squeak past Earlbrokes 2-1 at the same venue. Brindsley Reid got the consolation goal.
Daniel Eastman, Neilon Graham and Kareem Robley scored one goal apiece for Mason Hall USSS to shut out Bethel United 3-0 at Mt Gomery.
Black Rock routed Calder Hall 5-0 in an “A” Conference match on Saturday to keep their lead.
Allen Douglas, Rhimmon Reid Michael Carrington, Marlon Stewart and Reginald Duke sored one goal each for the winners while Adrian Holder scored for Calder Hall.
And Signal Hill United knotted up 1976 FC Phoenix at the top of “B” Conference with a 1-0 triumph over Carnbee/Mt Pleasant on a goal by Steffon Hector.
Both Phoenix and Signal Hill have 15 points each, but the latter have played one match less.
