Mason Hall USSS dumped champs Stokley Vale out of the Tobago Football Association's (TFA) FA Cup with a 2-0 whipping at Shaw Park, Scarborough on Wednesday.

Mason Hall USSS, who defeated Bethel United 1-0 in the first round, got goals from Kareem Robley and Danny Pantin to move in to the quarter-finals.

Also making it to the last eight were Hills United, 1976 Phoenix and Youth Stars. They will join Lambeau United, St Clair Coaching School, Taylor's Rental Goal City and NLCB Mt Grace United in the last eight.

In the second round, Hills United and Sidey's FC battled to a 2-2 stalemate in the first game of a double-header at Goodwood. There was a goal each for Nigel Thomas and Garvin Alexander for Hills United, while Marvin Lyons landed a brace for Sidey's, who went out on penalty kicks.

At Montgomery, Phoenix, who were demoted from the TFA Premier Division more than five years ago, went through to the quarter-finals by virtue of a 3-0 win on penalties over Black Rock after a 1-1 scoreline at the end of regulation time.

Joel Alleyne netted for Phoenix and Chevlin Duncan replied for Black Rock in the match-up between the two TFA First Division clubs.

In the second game, Youth Stars pipped Moriah Youths 2-1 in another tussle between two lower division sides.

Akeil Thomas and Earl Sterling did the business for Youth Stars, who stopped Calder Hall FC 4-1 on kicks from the spot, following a goalless scoreline at the end of normal time.

Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, Lambeau United brushed aside Roxborough Lakers 2-1 at Goodwood.

Arthur Moses and Lex Bovell netted for the lower division side, while Devon Crooks scored for Premier Division team Lakers. Lambeau were 3-0 winners over Goodwood United in the first round.

Former title-holders St Clair Coaching School made the cut to the quarter-finals with a thumping 4-0 triumph over Carnbee/Mt Pleasant on Tuesday at Shaw Park.

Carson Williams hit a brace, while Denzil James and Keron Duncan provided the other items for Coaching School, who won by default over Mason Hall PYC the previous week.

Premier Division team Taylor's Rentals Goal City also dominated their lower division opponents Signal Hill United last week, beating them by a 5-2 margin.

There were double strikes for Kayode Legall and Carson Quashie for Goal City.

Dennis Bruce netted twice for the losers.

Goal City won their opening encounter in the Cup campaign courtesy of a 2-1 victory over Earlbrokes.

NLCB Mt Grace took care of Golden Lane United 2-1 in a battle of the First Division teams at Montgomery.

Reuben Baptiste and Jerril Gibbs scored for Mt Grace, while Ryan McKellar did the trick for Golden Lane.
