Carnbee/Mt Pleasant stumbled in its hunt of Tobago Football Association First Division leaders Lambeau FC after it was held to a 1-1 draw by lowly Goodwood United on Wednesday. Devon Smith netted for Goodwood while Kenyon Quashie was on target for Carnbee/Mt Pleasant at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Training Ground, Bacolet.

With the point earned, Carnbee/Mt Pleasant stayed second on the table with 42 points from 20 matches, three behind leaders Lambeau FC with four left to complete the campaign for each club. Phoenix is next with 40 followed by Youth Stars United (38) and Calder Hall (36) and Bethel United, a point behind. In the Premier Division, Leeds United kept its survival dreams alive with a narrow 3-2 triumph over cellar placed Hills United at Canaan Ground, Bon Accord.

Kerlo Louis, Kirsyl Vincent and Kelvon Morris got a goal each for Leeds to cancel out strikes from Nigel Thomas and Afini George for Hills. St Clair’s Coaching School leads with 45 points from 18 matches, six ahead of Roxborough Lakers with four matches left for each club including a head-to-head clash on Sunday which could determine the title outcome.
