Striker Richard Roy scored all of three goals in a 3-1 Defence Force come-back win over St. Ann’s Rangers at the Larry Gomes Stadium in the first clash of a Digicel Pro League Championship Round Two Match Day Six double header.

Rangers opened the scoring through forward Cameron Roget in the 18th minute, but Roy stormed back levelling the scores 1-1 in the 25th minute and converting two penalties separated by the half.

Roy made it 2-1 in the 44th minute from the penalty mark and 3-1 in the 73rd minute, beating goalkeeper Shane Mattis again from the spot.

The goals took Roy’s tally to 7 goals in the championship from 8 games to lead the goal-scorers’ table despite having two goals wiped against North East Stars earlier this year after a lighting outage at the Larry Gomes Stadium forced the match to be played over, and only a week ago he had a cheeky item disallowed for offside against T&TEC.

In the second clash of the Malabar double header, Keon Trim scored in the 28th minute to hand San Juan Jabloteh a 1-1 draw against Caledonia, after an early item by Jamal Gay in the 8th minute.
