Ahkeela Darcel Mollon slips it pass the keeper.Swedish-based Trinidad and Tobago female striker Ahkeela Darcel Mollon, 24, got off to a dream start in the Swedish Division One season when her team Kvarnsveden registered a 5-2 drubbing of Bollstanäs in the first game of the season on April 19th.
Mollon was instrumental in her team's victory with three assists and made sure her team got off to a strong start.

Kvarnsveden showed that last weeks win was no fluke and took it up a notch with a 3-0 thrashing of Rågsved yesterday in their second game. This time the T&T star player managed to get on the score sheet when she opened her account in the top flight with a second half beauty in the 61st. Maria Liljenbort open for Kvarnsveden in the (30th) and Julia Roddar closed if off in the 73rd.

Where they sit

Kvarnsveden now sits on the top of the league table with 6 points out of the eleven team participants. However, there is a tough road ahead since their next match will see them without the benefit of a home advantage. Kvarnsveden will travel to the town of Umeå to take on Mariehems SK on Saturday at 14:00pm (8:00am TT time) hoping to continue their 2009 league success.

Mollon told Soca Warriors Online

"Two wins in two games in this division is not bad for our first year.

"The way the team has been playing we could definitely finish in the top three or even take home the championship title.

"The season is still very young at the moment and I do not want to get carried away, however, we do have a long enough time to improve as a team and insure we get the needed result so that we can finish in the top three", ended Mollon.

About Kvarnsveden

Kvarnsveden won their division last season which got them promoted to the top flight. They only lost one game last season and are definitely looking forward to the big league. Ahkeela will look to continue her fine form from last year and despite playing as an outside midfielder she still managed to score a whopping 17 goals and had 12 assists in 17 league games.
