Title-holder Police and last years’ runner-up Queen’s Park Cricket Club secured places in this year’s Northern Football Association FA Trophy quarterfinals with contrasting wins earlier this week.

The Lawmen got first-half strikes from Kelon Williams, in the 26th, and Akeem Marshall, three minutes later to blank Barataria Warriors 2-0 while the Parkites got a 27th item from Benedict Barrett to edge past Petit Valley.

Other second round winners, included Maple, Morvant Elements, Carenage United, Paragon, RSSR and St Francois Nationals. Meanwhile matches in the Premier and First Division will resume today and tomorrow with round five match-ups.
