MALTA CARIB Alcons remained atop the standings in the Premiership Division of the Eastern Football Association (EFA) League competition.

In a recent encounter, Akeil Dacon found the back of the net in the 40th minute as Alcons edged Valtrin United 1-0.

SKHY FC remained in second spot after a convincing 4-1 victory over Tunapuna Titans.

Kevaughn Boyce scored a double, in the 59th and 70th minutes, while Cordell Boyce-Bain (29th) and Jovan Edwards (56th) got the earlier items for SKHY FC. Joseph St Clair got the lone strike for Tunapuna, in the 29th.

Third-placed FC Maloney registered a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Boss FC. Yohanna Scott put Boss FC ahead after 18 minutes but Kitwanna Manning evened up the scores in the 51st, and Jabari Hamilton netted the winner in the 78th.

Two other teams registered 2-1 victories - House of Dread and WASA FC.

House of Dread took care of Carib FC with Darnell Seetahal (48th) and Mitchell Daniel (87th) finding the back of the net for House of Dread, while Anil Boutick (69th) replied for Carib FC.

Christopher Mitchell (24th) and Jamal Villafana (79th) were the goal- getters as WASA edged BM Spurs, despite Denzil Victor’s equaliser in the 25th.

In the First Division, Barataria Ball Players earned a 3-0 default victory over Crompton FC while the meeting between FCM Supreme XI and Eastern Alliance did not play.
