CENGEM HARLEM Strikers edged leaders Fire Service 1-0 on Saturday, in the Premier League of the Central Football Association (CFA).

In the second game of a double- header at the Hugo Francis Recreation Ground in Chaguanas, Harlem got the winner from Lincoln Brown, in the 65th minute.

With the result, Harlem moved up to second place with 19 points, six behind Fire Service.

In the first game at the Hugo Francis Ground on Saturday, Enterprise Youths and Inter National Connection battled to a 1-1 draw.

Keron Andrews put Inter National Connection ahead in the 11th minute but Dwayne Leon equalised in the 39th.

On Friday, Perseverance Ball Runners earned a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Central Soccer World, at the St Mary’s Recreation Ground.

Jamal Cuffy put Central Soccer World in front after 29 minutes but Perseverance Ball Runners responded with strikes from Anthony County (32nd) and Seon Regis (73rd).
