Siparia Spurs will go after their second major title worth $4,000 in the Southern Football Association (SFA) when they square off against Penal All Stars in the League Cup Final at Mannie Ramjohn Stadium tomorrow evening from 7 pm.

In so doing, Siparia Spurs will keep their chances alive to capture all three major titles in south this year, as they are one of the finalists in the Executive Cup FA Final against K-Brands carded for December 6, also at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium in Marabella.

Already ‘Spurs’ has been crown League Champions of the Petrotrin Super League by narrowly edging out K-Brands by virtue of haing a superior four-goal difference after both teams finished on 42 points.

Last year’s League Cup champion (Alutrint La Brea All Stars) finished third in the League on 34 points, followed by PAL United (28 pts.) and San Fernando Giants (23 pts.) respectively.

In the League Cup semi-final rounds, Siparia Spurs advance over K-Brands on a 3 – 2 aggregate while Penal All stars got the better of Palo Seco SC by a 6 – 3 margin. Siparia Spurs, clearly the team to beat in south, is also one of two remaining teams left from south in the National FA competition.

Coincidentally, the other southern outfit, PFL campaigners – Petrotrin United - will square off against their southern counterparts this evening in a FA quarter-final encounter at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium.
