FCI still lead Northern football

The FCI men shut out Police 2-0 in their latest game with Leon Cox and Shem McFarlane scoring one goal each.

But Maple dropped two points when held 2-2 by Petit Valley United in their game.

Christian Thomas and Cole Gomes netted one goal each while Dave Long scored both for the Petit Valley team.

RSSR whipped Paragon 6-3 with Dillon Anderson scoring a hat-trick, Anthony George got a double and Richard Anderson got the other. Jason Jack scored all three goals for Paragon.

Morvant Elements got only their third victory of the season when they stopped USC 2-0 with Mnarvin Quintyne and Ken Soyer scoring the goals.

Meanwhile, West Side Starz also kept their lead in the Premier Division Group “B” despite being held 1-1 by Clint Marcelle Football Academy.

Dave Lendore scored for the Starz while Akil Roach got the goal for the Academy.

St Ann’s Rangers got a double from Keith Williams and another goal from Rennie McCloud to shut-out Belmont Fifth Dimensions 3-0.

Defence Force and New Millennium played to a 2-2 draw in another game with Kwesi Davis and Ross Russell Jr scoring one goal each for the Army- Coast Guard team while Kenneth Balcon got both for the Millennium.

Queen’s Park got full points without kicking a ball when St Francois Nationals defaulted their fixture.
