Eagles United completed a sweep of titles in the Central Football Association competition when they added the Central FA Trophy to the League and Big Four trophies they had already won.
Eagles edged Caroni Connection 2-1 to win the Ramsingh Sports World FA Trophy on Monday at Woodford Lodge, Chaguanas. It took Eagles United 16 minutes to get the opener from Ronald Whisky through a free-kick which beat the Caroni Connection custodian.
But Caroni Connection equalised in the 41st minute from Cory Cyrus' low, powerful shot. The decisive goal of the match came in the 45th when Adrian Emmanuel blasted home from just outside the penalty box.
