Former national futsal player Dale Simon and his club Real Maracas were the major winners when the Emerald Apartments & Plaza sponsored Eastern Football Association held its 2010 end-of-season awards ceremony at the Ken Galt Hall, Dr Joao Havelange, Centre of Excellence on Saturday.

Simon was voted as the Player of the Year after he inspired his club to EFA FA Trophy title and the runner-up spot in the Arthur Browne (Jap) Memorial League Premier Division as well as the League Cup and Knockout competitions.

For their consistent showing during the season which was highlighted by its qualification for the bmobile National Super League, Real Maracas was named as the Team of the Year.
