Name: Lester "Corn Curls" Peltier.
Position:
Midfield.
Schools: St Pierre’s Composite (Trinidad), St Anthony’s College (Trinidad).
Club: San Juan Jabloteh (Trinidad, ? to present).
DOB: 13-Sept-1988.
T&T Senior Debut: January 26th 2008 vs Puerto Rico.
NOTE:
Peltier is very quick and is best suited for the flank where he could use his speed and dribbling skills to get in behind defenders. He has the potential to play a key role in the T&T world cup 2010 bid with his flair and natural talent. At time he tends to be a bit selfish and needs to develop his ability in reading the game and making better decisions (when to pass, when to dribble, proper choices of shot taking). Can play a strong role for the future of T&T football. Scored many great goals for his school St Anthonys College and also for both the U-17 and U-20 national teams. In Feb/Mar 2007 Lester had trials with English clubs Arsenal, Cardiff City, Portsmouth and Millwall all of whom wanted the player. Portsmouth was the one that won Lester's signature in the end when he signed a 4 year contract with them along with his Jabloteh team-mates Atullah Guerra and Khyleem Hyland, unfortunately, because of no international caps it prevented the trio from moving to the Premiership club.
