Trinidad & Tobago (2-0-0, 6 points) and Mexico (2-0-0, 6 points) remained perfect and became the first two teams to advance to the quarterfinals of the 2015 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship, each winning for a second straight time at the Estadio de Futbol Playa on Sunday.

T&T’s Beach Soccer Association president Kyle Lequay believes this country could make a strong claim for a place at the 2015 Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup in Portugal later this year.

The BagoSports Beach Soccer Championship (BBSC) will be hosted at Turtle Beach, Tobago, from today until Sunday. This is the fourth instalment of the tournament, which will feature some of the top men’s teams.
