Keagan Bacchus has been selected to represent the Mid-Continent University men's soccer team on the 2011 All-TranSouth First Team.Bacchus, a 6-foot sophomore forward from Pt. Fortin, Trinidad and Tobago, received the third most votes of any player on the All-Conference team. He was second on the Cougars in goals (7) and points (18), while ranking third on the squad with 4 assists. His presence at the top was felt all season, as Bacchus he tallied points in five consecutive matches during the middle of the season.

Hosting an NCAA Championship first round game for the second-straight season at the UCF Soccer Complex, UCF senior midfielder Kevan George tapped in a crossing pass from freshman Matthew Gaskins with only three minutes remaining in the second overtime to lift the Knights to a 1-0 win over Florida Gulf Coast Thursday. The Knights (12-5-3) now look ahead to a second-round showdown with South Florida Sunday at 6 p.m. in Tampa.

Brooklyn College Men's Soccer juniors Brandon Sewnath and Miguel Veliz-Fitz have been honored by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) coaches, as Sewnath was named to the 2011 CUNYAC All-Star First Team, while Veliz-Fitz was named to the 2011 CUNYAC All-Star Second Team.

Senior Ryan O’Neil used his head to slip a crossing shot from teammate David Jimenez by Jamestown keeper Tom Cooke for the Argos lone goal in the Semi-Finals of the Conference Tournament. “I am really proud of the effort today.” Coach Paul Zazenski said. “The team stepped their game up to get a great team win.”
