Tinto Sports Academy swept the football divisions on April 27 at the Ministry of Sport and Community Development District Sports east zone, at the Eddie Hart Ground, Tacarigua.

Pleasantville's under-20 girls' team and Trendsetter Hawks' under-16 boys were among the big winners when the fifth round of the Republic Cup National Youth Football League was played over the weekend.

TRENDSETTER Hawks' girls' teams starred on the opening day of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) on April 20 when they registered convincing victories in their respective North-East under-13 and under-15 divisions at the University of the West Indies (UWI), St Augustine.

ALTHOUGH they are a relatively new club that were registered in July 2022, Evolution FC are ready to make their mark on the local football scene and are targeting a successful campaign in the 2024 Republic Cup National Youth Football League (NYFL) which kicks off on February 24.

Last season's losing finalists Trendsetter Hawks got a measure of revenge to kickstart the 2024 Next Level Consulting Ltd (NLCL) under-15 community cup on Sunday, when they earned a 3-1 victory against defending champions Ginga FC in the season opener at Constantine Park, Macoya.

The 28th edition of the Republic Cup National Youth Football League (NYFL) will kick off on February 24.

Cardinals FA, Ginga FC and Pro Series were among the teams who shone brightest in Republic Cup National Youth League action last weekend, as they clinched their respective zones with perfect records.

The NLCL Community Cup Organizing Committee hosted its media launch for the inaugural 2023 season of the NLCL U15 Community Cup at the VIP Room of the Larry Gomes Stadium this past Sunday.
