Andre Anderson (SO Manchester, Jamaica) scored three goals and assisted on two others as the UMFK men’s soccer team rolled past Paul Smith’s College 10-1 to improve to 14-0-0 and 10-0-0 in SC play. The #10 NAIA nationally ranked Bengals scored five goals in each half in the lopsided victory which now gives UMFK 33 straight regular season victories dating back to a 1-0 loss to UMPI on Oct. 18, 2006.
Keith Williams II (FR Trinidad & Tobago), who is #3 in the NAIA in points and #2 in goals, had two goals and an assist for UMFK while Luka Odak (SO Croatia) had two goals. Emlyn Jacoby (Johannesburg, S. Africa) added a goal on a penalty kick with Josh Nichols (SR Hartland, ME) and Wally Stewart (SO St. Elizabeth, Jamaica) coming off the Bench to score the final two goals of the contest. Andrew Sorci scored for Paul Smith’s in the first half on Bengal keeper Giovanni Sinclair (SO St. Elizabeth, Jamaica) made five saves on six shots for the win.
