Adelphi University senior Kemalie Preston and sophomore Thorne Holder each earned Atlantic Soccer Conference (ASC) weekly honors as announced by the conference office on November 3. Preston was named Player of the Week while Holder was honored as Goalie of the Week, this is the sixth honor for Holder and the first for Preston.
In 90 minutes of action in front of the net, Holder, a native of Trinidad & Tobago, recorded one save in a 2-1 victory over Longwood. With the win Holder improves his overall record to 10-1-0 with five shutouts.
Adelphi returns to action at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 8 as they play host to ASC rival Howard University.
