#4 Javed Mohammed in the University of South Florida colors.University of South Florida men's soccer junior defender Javed Mohammed was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week for the week ending Oct. 4.

Mohammed recorded assists on both goals in USF's 2-0 win against Cincinnati on Oct. 3, the Bulls' only game of the week.

Almost more importantly, Mohammed helped lead a defensive unit that recorded its fourth shutout of the season and stymied the BIG EAST Conferences top offense coming into the game.

On the year, Mohammed is second on the team in scoring with six points on one goal and four assists. His four assists is tops on the team.

USF, now 7-1-1 on the year (3-1-1 BIG EAST) and ranked No. 5 in the most recent Soccer America Top 25 poll, will get back to work on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at No. 11 Louisville. Kick is slated for 7 p.m. at Cardinal Park Soccer Stadium. The Bulls then return home on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. when they take on St. John's in a rematch of the 2008 BIG EAST Conference title game in which USF was a 1-0 victor in overtime.

Season tickets for USF men's soccer games are $40 for adults and $20 for youths and senior citizens. Adult individual match tickets are $6, while youth and senior citizen admission is $3. All groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets for $2.50 per ticket. All USF students will be admitted at no cost when they display their student ID.
