Siena Heights opened their new field today with a great start, scoring a goal in the third minute but it was all Davenport after that as the Panthers reeled off five unanswered goals to pick up their second win in league action.  DU is now 2-0 in the WHAC.

Jai Maw got the scoring started for the Panthers as he scored on a penalty kick in his first game back from injury.  Gerard John-Williams then scored on a beautiful pass from Jesse Asanin-Miroux to make it 2-1 Davenport heading into the halftime break.

Richard Visser, Stuart Collins and Chase Burgess all collected goals in the second half as the Panthers dominated play.  DU posted a 16-6 advantage in shots on goal and junior Kevin O'Brien finished with two saves in 90 minutes in goal.

Post-Match Quotes - Head Coach Carl Whitehouse and Jesse Asanin-Miroux

Whitehouse on convincing win - "A very disciplined performance from Davenport today helped earn a second straight conference win...Scoring five goals in a game is rare, but to do it away from home is unusual but
we kept the ball today and that was the key to the chances created."

Asanin-Miroux on 2nd straight win in the WHAC - "We knew we had to win this game in order to keep our streak in the WHAC going. We had a rough start in the first half, but encouraged each other both on and off the pitch, and were able to get 2 goals back before the half. After we scored the third goal in the second half, it really gave our team the extra boost of confidence to put another 2 away."
