John, Villaroel join Belgium club CS Vise

DEFENDERS ELTON John and Kevon Villaroel have joined fellow Trinidad and Tobago players Willis Plaza and Rundell Winchester, as well as ex-San Juan Jabloteh and Central FC coach Terry Fenwick, with Belgium Third Division club CS Vise.

Fenwick left Central FC to join CS Vise at the end of the 2013-2014 TT Pro League season, and he was quickly followed by national striker Plaza and winger Winchester, who signed respective two-year and three-year deals with the Belgium club.

Now, according to a post on the Vise’s website, John, who was a member of Central during its runners-up campaign last season, and Villaroel, a free agent who was on the brink of joining Central from North East Stars for the 2014-2015 season, have made the move across the Atlantic.

No details have been disclosed about the nature of the contracts for John and Villaroel, but the deals were made before the close of the European transfer window on Monday.
