W Connection and North East Stars Under 14s both grabbed convincing 10-0 wins last Sunday in Match Day Two of the 2014 Youth Pro League.

Connection, 9-0 winners over Police FC in Match Day One, improved by Match Day Two, with their 10-0 win over visiting St. Ann's Rangers at the Ato Boldon Stadium last Sunday.

And far east, home side North East Stars were equally impressive with their 10-0 win against visiting Caledonia AIA at the Ojoe Road Recreation Ground in Grande.

Jalini Augustus led with a beaver-trick for the young Stars, scoring his first three goals in a space of four minutes in the 19th, 20th and 22nd minutes before completing his tally in the 59th minute.

Teammates Kishon Havkshaw (13th and 28th minutes) and Romario Mahabir (68th and 70th minutes) picked up a pair of goals each, while Brandon Semper (3rd minute) and Travis Byron (60th minute) got one each.

The Sangre Grande club went on the defeat Caledonia 2-1 at the Under 16 Division but fell 2-0 against the Morvant/Laventille club at the Under 18/Reserve level.

Connection, current leaders of all three youth levels, were held goalless against Rangers at the U-16 Division but finished with a 2-0 win over the St. Ann's club at the U-18/Reserve Division.

Nickel Rawlins, double goalscorer in their previous U-14 outing, registered a beaver-trick for Connection, scoring in the 41st, 51st, 53rd and 70th minutes for the Leonson Lewis coached-youngsters, while Jevaughn Humphrey (4th minute), an own goal (8th minute), Jarelle Steadman (19th minute), Kyjuan Sampson (33rd minute), Jamal Lee (49th minute) and Deneilson Benjamin (66th minute) picked up a goal each.

Also on Sunday, Point Fortin Civic U-14s, led by a Seon Shipley hat-trick and a goal each by Jerrin Jackie and Ackeel Jacob, defeat visiting Police FC 5-1 at Techier Recreation Ground.

But Civic went on to finish 0-0 at the U-16 level, and were defeated 2-1 at the U-18/Reserve by the young "Lawmen".

Defence Force meanwhile, welcomed three points at the U-14 Division, with a win by default over Central FC, but were edged 1-0 and 2-1 by the young "Sharks" at the U-16 and U-18/Reserve levels, respectively, at Trinity College East.
