CL FINANCIAL San Juan Jabloteh and Neal and Massy Caledonia AIA both registered their second successive victories in Round Two action of the T&T Pro League on Saturday.

Jabloteh went on a second-half goal spree as they blasted Tobago United 5-0 at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Arima, while Caledonia edged Joe Public 1-0 at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Tunapuna.

Defending champions W Connection could join Jabloteh and AIA atop the 10-team standings if they got past Starworld Strikers at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva last night. It took Jabloteh 48 minutes to break the deadlock against the lads from the sister isle, when veteran Peter Prosper found the back of the net.

Fellow striker Anthony Wolfe, among the 24 shortlisted players in the World Cup squad, extended the lead in the 65th while Trent Noel made it 3-0 in the 76th.

The match was complete when Josh Johnson netted a late double, in the 82nd and 89th.

In the second match of a double-header at the Arima venue, North East Stars handed Defence Force their second defeat in a row, by a 2-0 margin, courtesy strikes from Shandell Samuel (42nd minute) and Kevin Jeffrey (70th).

Sheldon Emmanuel was the hero for Caledonia, as his 84th minute item secured full points versus Eastern Lions while United Petrotrin was held to a goalless draw by Superstar Rangers at the Palo Seco Recreation Ground.
