Former Trinidad and Tobago captain Angus Eve is among the coaches being considered for the Adams Construction San Juan Jabloteh head coach job. But sources indicated that a United States-based coach is favourite to land the position.

Contacted yesterday, San Juan Jabloteh chairman Gerry Hospedales would only say: "We have put in place a process in which we have had some preliminary interviews. But, we hope to finish the process this week so that the candidate could begin work by the first of June."

Asked specifically if Eve was considered, Hospedales was both jovial and cagey.

"Everybody is a candidate," Hospedales quipped. "We are a family and we welcome everybody. You know, is 37 years Jabloteh around so that most people who are available might have been with us at some time or the other,"Hospedales added, while revealing nothing about the perspective new coach.

Jabloteh's search for a coach began following the recent dismissal of Englishman Terry Fenwick, who has since threatened to sue the club for breach of contract.

Recently, the reigning FA Trophy champions also attracted title sponsors and will be known as Adams Construction San Juan Jabloteh when the 2011-2012 local football season begins in a of couple months. The club has cemented a three-year relationship with Adam's Project Management and Construction Limited, who have replaced former sponsors CLICO, the financial giants who fell into difficulties a couple years ago. First Citizens Bank and TSTT will also sponsor specific Jabloteh projects.
