T&T held 1-1 in Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago National Under-20 footballers continued their preparations for the Caribbean final round of qualifiers for the 2015 FIFA Under-20 World Cup with an impressive 1-all draw with Guadeloupe's senior team at the Dwight Yorke Stadium in Tobago this afternoon.

Last Saturday the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) planned National Under 20 men's training sessions scheduled for Tobago at the Dwight Yorke Stadium venue did not go according to plan as the T&T coaches did not turned up and has left many fuming including former T&T national player Wendell Moore.

Former National Under 20 captain Duane Muckette suffered a torn MCL recently while in training with the University of South Florida, an injury which ruled him out of the upcoming Caribbean Under 20 Finals in Trinidad starting September 12th.

Some 200 players have been looked at during two screening sessions conducted by the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association for selection on the National Under 20 Men’s Team.

A decision has been taken by the Trinidad & Tobago Football Association (TTFA) to give the National Under-20 footballers a high-calibre friendly international warm-up match against the Guadeloupe senior team before they begin World Cup qualifying.

Screening sessions for the National Under-20 Men’s team provisional squad training commenced on Saturday at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Malabar, Arima, and will resume tomorrow at the same venue.

Go out and have a look at the National Under 20 Men's Team today from 5pm as they take on an Eddie Hart League All Star team to open the League.

The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association will hold screening sessions for selection on the National Men’s Under 20 Team starting this Saturday at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Malabar from 9:00 a.m.
