FIRST CITIZENS hammered Republic Bank 4-1 as Match Day Two action of the Inter Bank Football League continued last weekend.

In the second of back-to-back games at the Arnold Dwarika Savannah, Santa Cruz, First Citizens got a goal apiece from Marvin McEachnie, Oken Peters, Nigel Daniel and Travin Cumberbatch. Kareem Allard got the consolation for Republic Bank.

In the earlier game at Santa Cruz, Aero Services Credit Union whipped Scotiabank 3-1 with Keston Brown, Anton Marin and Andre George finding the back of the net for Aero Services, while Al Murray responded for Scotiabank.

On Saturday, in the second game of a double-header at the Ato Boldon Stadium Training Field, Couva, Central Bank cruised past RBC Royal Bank 4-1. Marcus Griffith netted a pair for Central Bank, while Anthony O’Garro and Keron Clarke chipped in with one apiece. J Jones notched Royal Bank’s consolation.

In the earlier meeting at Couva, Eastern Credit Union defeated Unit Trust 2-1, with Matthew Durham and Keston Raymond scoring for Eastern while Stephen Gray replying for Unit Trust.

Another double-header took place on Saturday, at the Valsayn Community Savannah, with Citibank and National Insurance Board prevailing by penalties over Sagicor Life and Community Care Credit Union respectively.
