THE 1ST FC Santa Rosa club is expected to lodge an appeal against a ruling by the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) regarding registration of new players.

According to club officials, they were denied registering Jevaughn Vance, MVP of last year’s Secondary Schools Football League, to play in the Emerald Apartments & Plaza-sponsored Eastern Football Association (EFA).

When his registration claim was made, the EFA turned it down allegedly stating that the date for registering players had expired.

The Santa Rosa club is yet to decide on when they will appeal the TTFF ruling, which they claim also affects their chances of signing two Brazilian players who are on trial with the team.

1st FC Santa Rosa are planning to appeal on three grounds citing FIFA rules on registration deadlines in amateur football.
