There was a large turnout of spectators to watch the finals with matches being keenly contested. Attending the finals was Tisha Lee, Republic Bank Manager, Group Corporate Communications. She welcomed the players and noted that the tournament was aimed at bolstering the country’s youth while providing an effective outlet for young footballers.

“With 16 years of commitment to the programme, we continually produce a generation of talented young men and women, who not only embodies these noble qualities, but also inspires those around it. We are confident that this tradition will be maintained and well be furthered through your accomplishments here and in the future,” said Lee.

She explained that as part of Republic Bank’s social investment programme “The Power to Make a Difference” they saw a need to reaffirm their commitment to the nation’s youth so they can fulfil their potential on and off the field.
