Guaya United FC of the Eastern Counties Football Union will be seeking to secure promotion to the 2013 blink/bmobile National Super League when it travels to Enterprise Youths for its penultimate match of the T&T Football Federation Champions of Champions qualifiers today.

The match between Guaya United and Enterprise Youths kicks off at 5 pm at Edinburgh 500 Recreation Ground and victory for the visitors, who head the table with maximum nine points from three matches, will seal one of the two qualification spots available.

So far in the CoC qualifiers, Guaya, led by five goals from Carlon Hughes, have secured wins against Bethel United (3-1), Pt Fortin Civic Centre (5-1) and Malabar FC (4-2) while Enterprise drew with Bethel United (1-1) after beating Bethel United 3-1 and losing to Malabar 6-1.

In the two other matches, Malabar, second with six points after losing its 100-per-cent winning record to Guaya is at home to cellar-positioned St Francois Nationals at the University of T&T Ground, O’Meara Road, Arima, from 6 pm while Point Fortin and Bethel face off at Mahaica Oval, Point Fortin, from 4 pm.

At the end of the round-robin series on March 24, the top two teams will gain promotion to the 2013 Super League competition.
