Malabar FC, the Eastern Football Association champions, will still play in the National Super League in 2013 despite losing their final match of the National Super League Qualifying Competition 2-1 to Tobago champions Bethel United.

Vernon Wilson (89th) scored a late goal to seperate the teams when the match looked set for a 1-1 draw. Anton Simone put the home team ahead at Plymouth in the 44th,  before Denzil Lopez levelled for Malabar in the  71st. However, they had no answer to the late goal from the Tobagonians.

Also promoted to the Super League are Guaya United, who still have an outstanding match against the bottom team St Francois Nationals, the 2012 North champions.
