Joint early leaders of the bmobile National Super Football League Joe Public and Economy Strikers will each face a tough battle in their quest to remain at the top of the table in Round Four matches today from 4 pm. After three rounds of matches, Joe Public and Economy Strikers each have nine points, but Joe Public has a better goal difference of plus-ten to plus-nine, and today, those unbeaten records will be severly tested.

Joe Public with wins over St Francois Nationals (2-1), M&M Harvard (4-2) and Queen’s Park (7-0) in their first three league encounters will do battle with debutants, T&TEC at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva. The “Electricity Boys” go into the match, joint second on the table with six points from three matches and are keen to get back to winning ways after a 2-0 shut-out by former champions WASA on Sunday last.

Strikers, who have also enjoyed a great start to the season having defeated East/West Coaching School (4-0), Alcoa Carenage United (2-1) and Defence Force (4-0) welcomes WASA to its Sangre Grande Recreation Ground. The “Water Boys” after a less than impressive start to the campaign, losing 2-0 to Harvard has picked up four points in its last two matches to move into a tie for fifth spot with Harvard and are also eager to continue that upward trend.
