T&TEC will look to open a three-point lead at the top of the bmobile National Super League table when it entertains mid-table Queen’s Park Cricket Club (QPCC) in a rescheduled match at Palo Seco Velodrome, Arima, today, from 4 pm. Currently, the Electricity Boys are top of the 11-team standings with 20 points from eight matches, while former champion, WASA also has 20 points, but from 10 matches.

Third is defending champion bmobile Joe Public with 18 points from nine matches followed by 1976 Phoenix with 15 points from eight matches, St Francois Nationals with 14 points and Queen’s Park, sixth with 11 points. Depending on the outcome of the T&TEC and Queen’s Park match, Joe Public will have a chance to go top of the table when it faces Club Sando at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella.

The Eastern Lions are brimming with confidence following Sunday’s 7-0 blowout win of Stokely Vale, while Club Sando’s scheduled meeting with Defence Force at Chaguaramas was not played. In the other rescheduled match, second from bottom on the table Valtrin and first year participant Stokely Vale, next Wednesday.
