Three second half goals helped visitor Stokely Vale ease to a 3–0 win over Valtrin in the battle of the debutantes in a rescheduled match of the bmobile National Super League at the NUGFW Ground in Valsayn, yesterday.

Trevonne James put the Tobagonians ahead in the 67th minute, before Tyronne Manning (71st) doubled the advantage four minutes later. The three points were sealed when Rohan Sebro added the third in the 83rd minute, handing Vale its fourth win.

Leader T&TEC, the only remaining unbeaten team, will be hoping to create some breathing space in the standings, when they face 1976 FC Phoenix in a rescheduled match of the bmobile National Super League at the Palo Seco Velodrome, today at 4 pm.

The “Electricity Boys”, the 2009 runners-up, could move to four points clear at the top of the standings if they could get past the Tobago team in their final first round match. Phoenix, on the other hand, will have other ideas as they seek to close the gap on the leader.
