TWO BLINK Vigilance employees in Darryl Duke and Malika Moore were presented with personalised t-shirts from the Queen’s Royal College (QRC) Football Academy at the College compound on Saturday.

The gesture was a way of saying thanks for the support the academy has received from the company.

BLINK sponsored the football uniforms which the team wore when they copped the Stokely Vale 14 and under Easter Tournament held in Tobago from March 29 to April 2.

The QRC Football Academy has been in existence since September 2010 and was established by Coach Pete Britto to develop individuals between the ages of 11-15 in the areas of academics, football and life skills.

The team has participated in various tournaments and has received many awards and accolades including the Clint Marcelle Memorial Tournament in which the A-Team won the Tournament. In addition the academy participated in the Tyro 2012 Summer League where the team was awarded the most disciplined and best uniform.

Britto said he was grateful for BLINK’s sponsorship since it assisted the boys in looking “extremely outstanding and fully uniformed.”
